FFL Firearm Transfer Policy

At 4 Brothers Super Pawn, our commitment to the safety of the Augusta community is our highest priority. We have a clear and specific policy for firearm transfers to ensure we only handle firearms that meet our store's strict criteria for responsible ownership. We exclusively handle FFL transfers for firearms purchased on Gunbroker.com.

Our Transfer Process & Requirements

While you may bid on and purchase your item at any time, you must follow these steps to use our FFL services:

1. Purchase Your Firearm: You may purchase your firearm on Gunbroker.com.
2. Obtain MANDATORY Pre-Approval: BEFORE you select our store as your transferring FFL, you are required to send an approval request via email to: transfers@4brosuperpawn.com.
3. Provide Required Information: In your email, you must provide the direct link to the item you have purchased so we can review it. This email requirement allows us to formally assess the firearm and creates a clear written record of the transaction and our approval, ensuring fairness and transparency for all parties.

Approval must be given by our staff via email before you can proceed. If you select us as your FFL without receiving our explicit email approval, the shipment will be refused. For general questions, you may call us at (706) 364-5800, but official transfer approvals will only be sent via email.

Policy on Unapproved Shipments

Any firearm that arrives at our store without our prior express email approval will be REFUSED AT THE DOOR.

We will not sign for or take legal possession of the firearm. It will be returned to the sender by the carrier. Resolving any subsequent issues, including shipping costs or seller restocking fees, will be the sole responsibility of the customer.

FFL to FFL Transfers Only

We only accept firearm shipments from other licensed FFL dealers. We will not accept transfers shipped from private individuals, regardless of the laws in their state. Please ensure the seller is a licensed FFL before purchasing your firearm.

Prohibited Firearm Types

We only transfer standard handguns intended for self-defense. We will NOT approve or accept transfers for any of the following:

• AR/AK Platform Rifles, Shotguns, or Pistols
• "AR Pistols" and Other Large-Format Pistols
• Any firearm we classify as an "assault-style" or "tactical" weapon
• "Gucci'd out," "tricked-out," or heavily modified firearms
• Any firearm in a condition we deem to be unsafe

Single Firearm Transfers Only

We process one firearm per transfer transaction. We do not process multi-gun transfers on a single 4473 form. If you purchase multiple firearms, you must wait at least one month between transfers and each will be treated as a separate transaction with its own background check and transfer fee.

Transfer Fees

• Standard Transfer Fee: $50.00
• Discounted Fee: $40.00 for customers who present a valid Georgia Weapons Carry License (WCL) at the time of pickup.
